  The villa is located on the beach at Bahia de los Angeles, which is about 400 miles below the border, on the Sea of Cortez.  It is an easy day’s drive from San Diego, and the roads are excellent by Baja standards.  The highway between the turnoff and Bahia (66 Kilometers) has recently been repaved, and is in excellent condition.   The final two miles of road is newly paved. It should be driven by day for both safety and scenery!

The little town of Bahia de los Angeles is a remote and beautiful place, with an island-dotted bay, teeming with fish and other wildlife.  It boasts a fine local museum, a turtle farm, several nice restaurants serving Mexican food at reasonable prices.  Trips can be made to surrounding sites such as Mision San Borja, palm canyons, gold mines, Indian cave paintings, and many more.

     The Villa is located two miles north of the village, near the private blacktopped small plane airport, on a miles-long sandy beach.
