The bay is teeming with fish, and the fishing is getting better every year. Migratory fishes such as dorado, bonito, roosterfish and large yellowtail are in the bay during the summer, and some smaller yellowtail and a host of bottom fish can be caught all year round in the bay. The catch of Humboldt squid is increasing every year, and bottom fish such as trigger fish, linguado, white fish, grouper, barracuda, cabrilla and sierra are all plentiful and good eating. Bahia is a fisherman’s paradise.
There is so much to do and see in and around Bahia de los Angeles, that you will probably have to make several trips to see it all. There are all the normal water sports at the Villa itself, and many sites to be seen in the village or within a short drive. You can choose from just relaxing, or be more active and go exploring for all to be seen in the desert, the mountains, or the islands in the bay.
